Monogrammed Easter Baskets

I was at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and I saw a lady at the check out with THE cutest baskets for Easter! I had already checked out and the kids were getting restless, but I was determined to return and buy those baskets for the kids this year.
The past couple years the easter baskets the kids have had have been made out of felt material and were really small. The Easter Bunny had a hard time fitting the goodies in the basket.

When I went back to Hobby Lobby to buy the baskets (there were only 3 of the smaller size left!!!), I decided I wanted to do a little something extra to the baskets. As I wandered the isles I found some chip board letters, some cute ribbon and fibers and paper to personalize my baskets.
I traced both sides of the letters onto the back of paper, cut them out and mod podged them onto the letters. I attached a ribbon to the letter with hot glue and then attached it/tied it to the basket in the location I liked best. I added some hot glue to the handle so my ribbon would stay in place. Then I cut smaller strips of different ribbons and fibers and tied them all together and using a little more glue, I made sure everything was nice and secure.

Here are some close ups!

It's not much, but it gives it a little something extra to make it special!

Here is where I'm linking up this week:
