Here is the recipe I used:
3 TBL butter (melted)
4 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups rice krispies cereal
blue food coloring
In a microwave safe bowl I melted my butter, added my marshmallows and stirred them around quickly to coat them with the butter. Then microwaved them for about 1.5 minutes. Then I added the blue food coloring to that and then added my cereal. Mixed it all together and then patted them down in a buttered jelly roll pan. (I doubled the recipe to fit in the jelly roll pan. If only doing a single batch, it will fit in a 9x13.)
I probably could've added more blue food coloring, but it was too late.
Then I took my star cookie cutter, buttered the sides so it wouldn't stick, and cut my shapes. I laid my stars on some parchment paper and stuck my red and white striped paper straws in the centers. My one little tip would be to pat them down as tightly as possible when you put them in your pan.
My little helpers surely enjoyed these tasty treats. My kids love suckers so a treat on a stick is just about right for them!

See how I spent my morning. Making treats and NOT dressing my kids! PJs and bed head is the only way to eat treats!
Hope you all have a great father's day weekend!
