Thank You Gift for Hospital Staff

It's tuesday!

And I don't have a recipe. :(

Instead I have a super easy thank you gift!

Last week I had to go to the hospital with some preterm labor, given a shot to stop the contractions and was sent home and told to drink lots of water and rest.  So that is what I've been trying to do and instead of cooking, I decided to craft.

I was thinking how awesome the hospital staff was and how caring they've been for all my deliveries and how it will be the same for baby #3.

I've never taken anything to the hospital to thank the staff and I decided that I wanted to do something this time.

So I started working on these thank you's for the doctor and nurses who will be helping me this third time.

I saw these fruit shaped/flavored candies at the candy store and it got me thinking.
These are the same fruits (strawberry, raspberry, peach) I used for my Sweet Year Teacher Gifts.
I could change it up a little and use it for a hospital thank you
.

So I made up some new tags that would work for my hospital experience.
I printed them and punched them out with my 2.5 inch scallop punch.

I found some white pillow boxes that I had ordered from Pick Your Plum months ago and glued my tags onto the pillow boxes.

I filled the boxes with the coordinating candy and tied them with some bakers twine.

I can fill up my berry baskets and keep them by the door so the nurses that help me can grab one on the way out!

My last 2 hospital stays with my babies have been great experiences and I can't wait to show my appreciation for all the hard work that the nurses and doctors do to make my experience perfect.

Now my only dilemma is going to be keeping the kids away from the treats.
Both at home and when they come to visit mommy in the hospital!

Today I'm going to share my Thank You tags with all of you.

Maybe you're not going to be staying in the hospital, but you could use these for another occasion.
You could really use any fruit flavored or shaped candy (or real fruit) and fill up any container and attach one of these tags.

Happy Gifting!
